Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection commonly known as IBPS conducts the exams and millions of candidates appear for exams like IBPS PO. The exams are conducted to fill various posts at several participatory banks, such as This exam holds banks such as Allahabad Bank, Indian Bank, Central Bank of India, United Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Dena Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Vijaya Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank, Corporation Bank, Bank of India, Punjab and Sind Bank, ECGC, Bank of Baroda and IDBI BANK, etc.

There are four IBPS Exams conducted for recruiting people for govt bank jobs.

1. IBPS PO Exam to get Govt Bank Jobs

A Common Written Examination (CWE) is organized by IBPS to select personnel for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts in govt banks. The system of selection is approved by all the participatory banks and the managing committee of the Indian Banks’ Association. The two-phase exam is conducted online (Prelims and Mains) and the shortlisted candidates are called for the common interviews which are conducted by the participatory banks along with the IBPS Commission.

CWE Clerk-IIV is conducted to select personnel for Clerical Carde Posts in govt banks. The examination is held online for two phases and the shortlisted candidates are called for the common interviews which are conducted by the Participating banks coordinated by IBPS Commission.

3. IBPS RRB to get govt bank Jobs

IBPS conducts CWE for recruiting officers of Group A (Scale – I, II and III) and Group B Assistants for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The IBPS RRB examination is also held online. 

4. IBPS Specialist Officer to get govt bank Jobs

An exam is conducted by the IBPS to recruit Specialist Officers in govt banks. There are different posts and scale requirements in govt banks which are filled through this examination. The eligibility varies since there are vacancies across different posts and scales.The vacancies can be for management officers, IT officers, HR officers, Law officers, etc. The exam is conducted online and the candidate must wait for IBPS notification to be released for information about different scales and posts that are announced in it.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

This is an exam conducted by RBI. Candidates are selected for the post of RBI Grade B officer.Graduation is the basic eligibility required to apply for RBI Grade B Officer.

The selection process for RBI Grade B officers consists of three phases. The first phase is an online examination, the second phase is the written examination and the last phase is the interview round.

National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development (NABARD)
