SBI Bank PO Mains 2017- Question Paper  

Let’s start with the first question- What kind of questions were there in SBI PO Mains 2017 Exam. As expected, the SBI PO Mains 2017 Question Paper had 155 questions for 200 marks, which the candidates had to solve in 3hours. The SBI PO Mains 2017 question paper had 45 questions from the Reasoning and Computer Ability Section, 35 questions from the section on Data Analysis and Interpretation, 35 questions in the section on English Language and finally 40 questions in General Awareness. This was followed by the SBI PO Mains 2017 Descriptive Paper for 30 minutes where the candidates had to write an essay and a letter in 30 minutes.
Undoubtedly, the SBI PO Mains 2017 Exam was tough and challenging. The questions were of higher order in terms of difficulty and also unpredictable to an extent. However, this does not mean that those of you who wrote the exam should panic because cut offs for SBI PO Mains 2017 will be likewise and those of you who are planning to write SBI PO Exam next year should be prepared for some tough questions.


SBI Bank PO Mains 2017- Reasoning and Computer Ability Section

This section in the SBI PO Mains 2017 had 45 questions most of which were very difficult. The overall difficulty level of this section can easily be put at- very difficult. Interestingly no questions were asked on Computer Aptitude and Ability. As expected there were a lot of questions on Puzzles but unexpectedly there were no questions on Syllogisms and Directions.

SBI Bank PO Mains 2017- Data Analysis and Interpretation

This section in the SBI PO Mains 2017 had 35 most of which ranged from moderate to very extreme in terms of difficulty. As expected questions were based on a variety of Data Representations and one question even had a combination of Line and Table Graph. Three different sets of questions needed application of Profit and Loss, Time and Work and Time and Distance. Also this section in SBI PO Mains 2017 had some questions on Data Sufficiency and Probability.  This section of SBI PO Mains 2017 was very heavy on calculations.

SBI Bank PO Mains 2017- English Language

The English Language section in SBI PO Mains 2017 had 35 questions. The level of difficulty of this section was slightly higher in SBI PO Mains 2017 in comparison to last year. Also this section was a mixed bag- some questions on the old pattern and some had a new twist to them. Overall this section of SBI PO Mains was difficult.

SBI Bank PO Mains 2017- General Awareness

This was probably the simplest of all sections in SBI PO Mains 2017 Exam. This section saw a mix of questions from Banking Awareness, Abbreviations and Current Affairs. Most of the questions were asked from Current Affairs.

As expected this section of SBI PO Mains 2017 had 2 writing skills to be done in 30 minutes. The topics were a little off beat for the essay while the topics for the letter were either form the list of predicted topics or on the same lines.
