General Awareness:It is one of the high scoring subjects in the IBPS Clerk Exam. Nearly 40 percent of the questions in this subject revolve around banking and financial industry and 60 percent questions are based on current affairs covering topics like politics, economy, sports, art, awards, etc. In order to score well, you should read newspapers and magazines regularly. Also, keep yourself abreast with the latest happenings at the national and International level and concentrate on the latest banking policies and regulations of RBI and other major Govt. sector banks like SBI.
Computer Awareness:You can easily score good marks in this section because the syllabus is not so vast. This section covers two topics: hardware and software. To score well, you need to have basic computer knowledge and understand MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Windows, and the Internet. To prepare for this section, you need to refer to basic computer books. A working knowledge of computers ( as in being digitally savvy) would be an added advantage.
