But the number of Government jobs on offer is very limited. As a result, there are fewer chances of getting one. Nevertheless, there are many private jobs in various sectors like IT, Teaching, Banking, etc. The preparation for Government jobs needs a lot of study and hard work that usually includes written tests and interviews. Time spent in preparing for such exams in getting a Government job is usually considered to be a waste if the candidate fails in getting a Government job.
But now the scenario is likely to change, as the Govt. has decided to start a website of a data bank where the ranks and marks obtained by candidates are displayed. How will this help?
How will Government Score help you to get a job in Private Sector? The National Informatics Centre is developing a website called Integrated Information System for Public Recruitment Agencies. This website will be linked to web pages of individual recruitment agencies.
The website will be designed in such a way that the home page will display details of recruitment examinations undertaken by the students in the past one year and the date of announcement of the final results of the examination. Private sector units will be able to access details of a candidate’s performance along with their ranks. The idea was initially suggested by the Prime Minister and he directed the NITI Aayog to get a formal approval of DoPT ( Department of Personnel & Training) to start the initiative.
This new data bank of candidates can be used by private sector banks, schools, IT companies etc. to select a candidate based on the tests. This new initiative is advantageous to both the private sector units and the youth looking for a suitable employment.
The new website being created is a boon to the candidates preparing for Government written tests and interviews. There are similar jobs in both the private and the public sectors and the scores of the Government exams can help candidates get their dream job in the private sector with just one score.
