How to Apply for IBPS PO Without Getting Rejected

Apply for IBPS PO

The IBPS PO Exam, a mandatory requirement created by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), is a two-part exam made up of both a written section and an interview. Usually, the exam takes place in September.  IBPS conducts a PO, Clerk, RRB and Specialist Recruitment annually. The method of applying online is the same for all IBPS Bank Exams of the different cadres. They report on upcoming Bank Exams on their website through a notification a few days before the enrollment begins.

We take you through a step-by-step procedure to help you apply correctly for IBPS Exam.

First, check and keep the following handy:

You should download and read the advertisement posted on the IBPS website for instructions and registration details, eligibility, etc.

Compare your educational qualifications and age as per the IBPS norms for the given recruitment to ensure your eligibility for the job.

Keep your scanned passport sized coloured photo, taken against a white background and your digital signature, with black ink on white paper, ready to be uploaded.

A valid email address and a mobile number have to be provided by the candidates while registering.  So make sure emails from IBPS are on your whitelist and the Do-not-Disturb facility is turned off on your mobile to enable you to receive alerts on your registration.

Keep all certificates and documents on hand before you start registering.

Valid proof and documentation should support all information entered in the IBPS forms.

Keep your payment card details handy, as the fee is to be paid online by Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/IMPS/Wallets like PayTM, Jio, etc.

Candidates may be asked for their “Bank Preference” during the application for some recruitment.  This option gives you the benefit of choosing the banks you prefer from among the participating banks.  On getting a good IBPS score, this helps you in getting a placement with your preferred bank.

Registering and Applying:

Follow these instructions to ensure you apply without any hassles.

Decide on which Bank Exam you want to appear for and click on the appropriate link.  It loads an IBPS web page assigned to the Exam of your choice.

The system then gives you a set of instructions.  Read it thoroughly and only then start entering details on the application form.

After you have completed this section, save it and upload your photograph and signature.

You will get a temporary User ID and Password.  These access details can be used to sign into the IBPS system at any time during the period of online registration.

Complete the remaining required data and submit the form.

In the end, IBPS displays the complete information provided by you on a single page.  Accept all the terms.  Remember, after this editing is not possible.

You will get registration confirmation after paying the fees mentioned on the next page.

Finally, return to the IBPS Home Page for the recruitment & login.

Download your application form and e-payment receipt.

Voila! You are done.
