5(a) How should one prepare for these exams?

Preparation has three parts viz. Learn, Revision and Practice.

The Objective of Learn is to have the concepts understood. One should go through the basic concepts, short cuts as well as exercises to test one's understanding. A TalentSprint student can plan his preparation as under:
  • Go through the 400+ video lessons across all Quant, Reasoning, English and General Awareness topics. This will take you around 60 hours
  • Participate in 4-5 LIVE classes in each month
  • Set aside 1 hour a day to go through the pdfs pertaining to Word Power, Synonyms Antonyms, Current Affairs, Computer terms etc.
  • Set aside 1 hour per day towards reading Newspapers, Articles of importance
Revision has to be done on important topics and specifically those which you find it difficult to follow.
  • Participate in the IBPS Refreshers which are tentatively planned one month before the actual exams.
  • Identify the areas where you find difficulties and revise the same by relearning through the videos till you get confident
As you would appreciate, Practice is an important area one needs to focus on.  While Full Length Tests are good, it is important that one also takes on Section Tests as well as Topic Tests to understand your strengths and weakness. So we suggest two stage practice as under:
  • Topic and Section Level Tests:
Ideally, one should take topic level test for each of the topics and a minimum of 10 section level tests for each of the sections viz. Quant, Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. This will take you around 20 hours. If time permits,  you can take some Section Tests as well on specific sections which you identify for revision in your preparation (based on importance as well as your understanding levels).
  • Mock Tests (Full Tests):
It is very essential that one takes at least 10 Mock tests in the actual exam format in order to get used to the pattern of the exam. Also, it is equally important to analyse one's performance in each of these mock exams and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
Ideally, this practice needs to be done ONLINE and in an interface similar to that of the examination. TalentSprint students have the opportunity not only to do all these practices but also get analytical reports on their performance, which can be used to understand the areas of strengths and weaknesses that can be acted upon through preparation and revision.
